Calgary, Alberta — Mbrace Energy has been awarded $400,000 through NGIF Accelerator's Methane Reduction Demonstration Program, funded by the Government of Alberta through the TIER fund and matched by voluntary industry funding, to demonstrate how producers can restore production from liquid-loaded wells while eliminating routine venting and flaring.
Mbrace is one of eight made-in-Canada technologies selected, with seven operators backing the program. Tourmaline Oil Corp. and Birchcliff Energy Ltd. are engaged as Mbrace moves into the next phase of field demonstration and commercialization, generating third-party validated results.
